Previously only available in Japan, this 20 track mix from DMC World Champion DJ Kentaro is a breakneck ram-raid of the Ninja Tune back catalogue featuring material from Coldcut, Vadim, Jaga Jazzist, Pest and Vibert. Peppered sporadically by bouts of carpel-tunnel inducing scratching, Kentaro certainly knows how to juggle his decks, seamlessly mixing the smoky tones of Jaga Jazzist into the Vicks Vapour drenched 'King's Lyn' by Wagon Christ. Not the kind of 'aren't I clever' turntablist that often blights this type of thing, Kentaro prefers to let the music talk for itself, pummelling the hyper-kinetic Squarepusher mix of DJ Food's 'Scratch Yer Head' into the rear end of Coldcut's 'Border' and 'Timber'. Accompanied by a DVD shot on the Tokyo leg of the Solid Steel tour (as well as some other bits and bobs), DJ Kentaro has belligerently ransacked the Ninja Tune annals, creating a respectfully eclectic mix.
